Accessibility  Statement

Last Updated: 28 July 2025

1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

Brandmark Signs Limited is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe everyone has the right to access information and services online, and we are continually working to improve the user experience for everyone by applying the relevant accessibility standards.

This commitment is a core part of our business and is essential for fulfilling our legal and ethical responsibilities under the European Accessibility Act and Ireland's Equal Status Acts.

2. Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Our website, brandmarksigns.ie, is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.

"Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We have identified these areas and are actively working to address them.

3. Feedback and Contact Information

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, have difficulty accessing any information, or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

  • Email: info@brandmarksigns.ie

  • Phone: (01) 518 0828

  • Postal Address: Unit 220 Holly Road, Western Industrial Estate, Dublin, D12 EH32

We aim to respond to all accessibility-related feedback within 5 working days.

4. Non-Accessible Content

Despite our best efforts to ensure the accessibility of brandmarksigns.ie, we are aware that some parts of the website may present challenges for users. We are actively working to improve these areas. Below is a description of known limitations.

  • Images and Media: We are aware that some images on our site may be missing descriptive alternative text (alt text). Similarly, some older video content may lack closed captions. We are undertaking a review to address this on our most popular content first.

  • Legacy Documents: Some of our older documents, particularly PDF files created before 2025, may not be structured to be fully accessible to screen reader software. If you require information from a specific document in an alternative format, please contact us.

  • Website Readability and Navigation: Certain pages may contain issues that affect readability for some users, such as areas with low colour contrast between text and its background. We are also working to ensure all pages use a correct heading structure and that all links are clearly descriptive to improve navigation for users of assistive technologies.

5. Enforcement Procedure

Brandmark Signs Limited is committed to resolving accessibility issues in a timely and effective manner. However, if you are unsatisfied with our response to your feedback, you have the right to escalate your complaint.

Under Irish law, you can make a formal complaint to the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) under the Equal Status Acts. For more information, please visit the WRC website.
