At Brandmark Signs Limited, we are dedicated to creating high-quality, custom products that perfectly match your vision. Our returns and cancellations policies are designed to be fair and transparent, reflecting the bespoke, made-to-order nature of every item we produce. We work closely with you during our mandatory proofing stage to ensure you are completely happy before we begin production.
This policy forms part of our main Terms and Conditions.
1. The Bespoke Nature of Our Goods & Your Rights
Almost every product we sell is created specifically for you. It is made to your unique specifications, featuring your branding, text, colours, and dimensions.
Unlike off-the-shelf items, a sign made with your logo cannot be restocked or resold to another customer. For this reason, our products fall under the category of "goods made to the consumer’s specifications or which are clearly personalised."
In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and associated EU regulations, the standard 14-day "cooling-off period" for online sales does not apply to the products we sell. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to this.
2. Our Cancellation Process
We understand that circumstances can change. Our cancellation policy is structured around our production workflow to be as fair as possible.

Cancellation Before Design Work Commences If you change your mind shortly after ordering, please contact us immediately. If no design work has been undertaken by our team, we will cancel your order and issue a 100% full refund.

Cancellation After Design Work Commences If you wish to cancel after we have started the design process and sent you a digital proof, a design fee will be deducted from your refund to cover the time our team has invested in your project. The amount will be determined at our discretion based on the work completed.

Cancellation After Final Proof Approval Once you have given written approval on your final digital proof, the order is immediately sent to production. At this stage, materials have been committed and the manufacturing process has begun. The order cannot be cancelled, amended, or refunded.
3. Our Returns Process
Returns for Change of Mind
As all our products are custom-made to your approved specifications, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind. The mandatory proofing process is in place to ensure you are 100% satisfied with the design before it is made.
Our Quality Guarantee & Your Statutory Rights (For Faulty or Incorrect Goods)
We stand by the quality of our materials and craftsmanship. If you believe your product has a manufacturing fault, has been damaged in transit (see our delivery policy), or is not what you approved in your final proof, please follow these steps.

Step 1: Contact Us Promptly Please notify us by email at info@brandmarksigns.ie as soon as reasonably possible, and ideally within 7 days of receiving your order.

Step 2: Provide Details Your email must include your order number, a clear description of the issue, and clear photographic or video evidence of the potential fault.

Step 3: Our Assessment & Resolution We will review the information to assess the issue. If a manufacturing fault is confirmed or we determine the goods are not in conformity with the contract, we will resolve the issue in line with your statutory rights. At our discretion, this will involve:

Repairing the faulty item;

Replacing the item with a new one; or

Offering a partial or full refund.

4. What Our Guarantee Does Not Cover
Our Quality Guarantee is strictly limited to manufacturing defects. It does not cover:

Any errors (e.g., spelling, colours, layout, dimensions) that were present on the final proof that you approved.

Damage caused by the customer, a third-party, or an improper installation (if not installed by Brandmark Signs).

Normal wear and tear, or natural fading over time due to weather and sun exposure.

Damage caused by improper cleaning, maintenance, or the use of harsh chemicals.

Damage caused by extreme weather conditions, accidents, or other unforeseen events.
