REFUND & RETURNS POLICY – BRANDMARK SIGNS LIMITED

Effective Date: January 2026


1. The "All Sales Final" Policy

At Brandmark Signs Limited, every product we manufacture—from a simple vinyl sticker to a complex illuminated lightbox—is Bespoke and Custom-Made to your specific requirements.

Because our goods are created specifically for you and cannot be resold to anyone else, All Sales Are Final.

1.1. No "Cooling-Off" Period Under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013, the standard 14-day "cooling-off" period (Right of Withdrawal) does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised.

Therefore, once an Order is placed and a Contract formed (as per our Terms & Conditions), you do not have the right to cancel the order or return the goods simply because you have changed your mind.


2. Defective or Damaged Goods

While we do not accept returns for "change of mind," we fully stand behind the quality of our manufacturing.

2.1. Manufacturing Defects If you believe your product is faulty due to a manufacturing error or material defect, you must notify us immediately.

  • Our Promise: If the goods are found to be defective due to our workmanship, we will—at our sole discretion—Repair or Replace the defective item free of charge.

  • Refunds: A monetary refund will only be offered if we are unable to repair or replace the item within a reasonable timeframe.

2.2. Reporting Damage (The 24-Hour Rule)

  • Supply-Only / Trade Orders: You must inspect all goods immediately upon delivery or collection. Any claims for physical damage (scratches, dents, cracks) or shortages must be reported to us in writing (with photos) within 24 hours of receipt.

  • Installation: If you (or your third-party installer) attempt to install a product, you are deemed to have accepted it as being in perfect condition. We cannot accept claims for physical damage after installation works have commenced.


3. Non-Returnable Scenarios

For clarity, we will not offer a refund, repair, or replacement in the following circumstances:

  1. Design Errors in Approved Proofs: If you approved a design proof (Direct Clients) or supplied a print-ready file (Trade Partners) containing a spelling mistake, incorrect phone number, or wrong colour code, we are not liable. We produce exactly what is approved/supplied.

  2. Incorrect Size/Dimensions: If you provided us with the wrong measurements for your wall or window, the responsibility is yours.

  3. Customer Misuse: Damage caused by improper handling, incorrect wiring (by your electrician), modification, or using the sign in an environment it was not designed for (e.g., using an indoor print outdoors).

  4. Installation Issues (Third Party): If you hired a third party to install the sign and they damaged it, you must seek recourse from them.

3.1. Design & Service Fees
Fees charged for professional services—including but not limited to Design & Concept Fees, Site Surveys, and Consultations—are payment for time and expertise rendered.

  • Non-Refundable: Once the design presentation or survey has been completed, this fee is strictly non-refundable, even if you choose not to proceed with the manufacturing of the signage.

  • Production Credit: As per our Terms & Conditions, this fee may be credited against your final production invoice if you proceed with the order within 30 days.


4. Cancellation Policy

4.1. Before Production Begins If you wish to cancel an order after payment but before any design work or material ordering has started, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund minus a €50.00 Administration Fee.

4.2. During Production Once materials have been ordered or production has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled, and no refund will be issued.
