SHIPPING & COLLECTION POLICY – BRANDMARK SIGNS LIMITED
Effective Date: January 2026
1. Collection Protocol ("Click & Collect")
As a trade manufacturing facility, we do not have a retail showroom. Collection is strictly by appointment/notification to ensure the safety of your goods and our staff.
1.1. Collection Location
Address: Unit 220 Holly Road, Western Industrial Estate, Dublin, D12 EH32.
Hours: Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 16:30 (Closed 13:00 – 13:30).
1.2. The "Ready for Collection" Rule
Do Not Travel Early: Please do not send drivers to the workshop until you have received the official "Ready for Collection" email or text notification.
Wasted Journeys: If a driver arrives before the notification is sent, the goods will not be released as they may still be in the curing/finishing stage. We accept no liability for wasted driver time.
1.3. Vehicle Suitability
Your Responsibility: It is the Customer's sole responsibility to ensure their vehicle is large enough to transport the goods safely.
Refusal to Load: Our warehouse team reserves the right to refuse to load a vehicle if it is deemed unsafe or too small (e.g., attempting to load a 3-meter fascia sign onto a roof rack without proper supports).
Loading Assistance: Our staff will bring the goods to the roller shutter door. For insurance reasons, loading and securing the load inside your vehicle is the driver's responsibility.
2. Trade "Blind Shipping" Guarantee
For our Trade Partners, we operate a strict White-Label Shipping Protocol designed to protect your client relationships.
2.1. The "Silent Partner" Promise
Unbranded Packaging: All trade orders are packed in neutral brown cardboard, clear shrink wrap, or unbranded pallet wrap.
No Brandmark Tape: We do not use branded "Brandmark Signs" tape on trade boxes.
No Invoice in Box: We never include a Brandmark Signs invoice or price list inside the packaging. All financial documents are emailed directly to you (the Trade Partner).
2.2. Your Delivery Dockets
Submission: Since we do not operate a self-service checkout, you must provide your branded Delivery Docket (PDF) manually.
How to Send: Please email your docket to info@brandmarksigns.ie immediately after confirming your Order, referencing your Quote/Order Number in the subject line.
Attachment: We will print your docket and attach it to the box/pallet in a "Documents Enclosed" wallet. To the end-user, the package looks like it came directly from your factory.
3. Nationwide Delivery Services
We use third-party logistics partners to cover the 32 counties. Timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.
3.1. Standard Courier (Small/Medium Items)
Carrier: DPD Ireland.
Size Limit: Maximum length 2.0 meters. Maximum weight 30kg.
Service: Next Working Day (Republic of Ireland). 48 Hours (Northern Ireland).
Tracking: Tracking numbers are automatically emailed upon dispatch.
3.2. Pallet Network (Large/Bulk Items)
Carrier: The Pallet Network (TPN).
Size Limit: Items over 2.0 meters or bulk orders are strapped to a pallet.
Kerbside Delivery Only: Please warn your client that pallet deliveries are "Kerbside Only."
The driver is not insured to bring goods inside a shopping centre, carry them upstairs, or unwrap them.
The pallet will be dropped at the nearest safe point accessible by a tail-lift truck.
3.3. Dedicated Van (Oversized/Fragile)
Scope: Required for items over 2.4 meters long (e.g., continuous fascia trays) or highly fragile built-up letters.
Quotation: Prices are quoted P.O.A. based on mileage from Dublin D12.
Offloading: The client must provide sufficient manpower or a forklift at the delivery address to offload the van. The driver is for transport only.
4. Failed Deliveries & Surcharges
To avoid unexpected costs, please ensure your delivery details are accurate.
4.1. Incorrect Address / Eircode
Eircode Essential: In Ireland, the Eircode is mandatory for accurate delivery.
Redirection Fee: If a delivery fails because you provided an incorrect Eircode or address, the courier charges us a Redirection Fee (typically €15.00), which will be passed on to you.
4.2. Refused / No-One-Home
Redelivery Fee: If the driver attempts delivery and nobody is there to sign, or if the shipment is refused by the site contact, the goods will be returned to the local depot. A Redelivery Fee applies to send it out a second time.
5. Damages & Inspection Protocol (STRICT)
This is the most important section for Trade Partners. We cannot claim insurance from couriers if these rules are not followed.
5.1. The "Clean Signature" Trap
Check Before Signing: You (or your client) must inspect the external packaging for tears, crushing, dents, or footprints before signing the driver's handheld scanner.
Sign as DAMAGED: If the box looks even slightly damaged, you must sign for it as "DAMAGED" or "UNCHECKED."
Effect of Signature: If you sign "Received in Good Condition," the courier's liability ends instantly. Brandmark Signs cannot replace items free of charge if a clean signature was given on a damaged box.
5.2. Reporting Procedure
Timeline: You must notify us of any damage or shortages within 24 Hours of receipt.
Evidence: Please email info@brandmarksigns.ie with:
Photo of the external packaging (showing the label).
Photo of the damage to the product.
Your Order Number.
5.3. Replacement Policy
Upon validation of a damage claim, we will prioritize the re-manufacture of the affected parts.
Note: We provide replacement goods only. We do not cover consequential costs such as installer waiting time or cherry picker hire fees caused by shipping damage.
6. International & Export
Northern Ireland: Standard shipping rates apply. VAT is charged at 0% (Reverse Charge) only if a valid XI/GB VAT number is validated by our accounts team prior to invoicing.
UK Mainland & Europe: We currently operate on an Ex Works (EXW) basis for exports.
We will pack the goods and provide weights/dimensions.
You must arrange your own courier/freight forwarder to collect from Dublin D12.
Risk transfers to you immediately upon collection.
